JORDYN BROWN
WRITER, AUTHOR
Jordyn Brown is a fiction author and former USA Today journalist. Born and raised in Portland, OR, she draws inspiration from the Pacific Northwest and the colorful characters who are part of it. As a hopeless romantic and rom-com connoisseur, she enjoys crafting stories that focus on the ways love arrives to us in everyday moments: unannounced, unrelenting, and real.
When she’s not rewatching her favorite films or playing with her cat, Linus, she is dreaming up silly new meet-cutes for future characters and plotting how to earn the personal honor of bridesmaid for the seventh time.
Her award-winning writing has also appeared in publications such as The Associated Press, The Seattle Times, The Oregonian, and Minnesota Star Tribune.
Note from the Author
As long as I have been able to call myself anything, I have called myself a writer. As soon as I could read, I had the unrelenting urge to write and filled piles of journals with fantastical youthful imagination and stories of love. I have followed that thread of passion my entire life as it tugged me into a career as a newspaper reporter for many years, and later, jobs that called on more persuasive writing skills.
I still follow that thread of passion today, as I devote my time to my own creative writing, barreling with excitement toward my future as a bestselling author.
Writing is my first and most devoted love. It is a craft I have honed for years and still find myself enamored with, as it reveals to me every day how stories exist all around us — you just have to be willing to uncover them.
